Venezuela is promoting its tourist attractions in Colombia, as part of a campaign running through the year in air terminals of the neighbor country.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the objective of this campaign, launched in July, is to encourage Colombians to visit Venezuela’s natural and patrimonial beauties by presenting them in an attractive, friendly way.

Under the slogan “You are Destined to Meet Venezuela,” photos of several tourist sites are exhibited in air terminals of Medellin, Cali and Bogota.
Until September, Venezuelan tourist sites had received 570,000 foreign visitors, and the figures this year are expected to exceed those of 2011.
