Legendary Colombian footballer Carlos Valderrama carried the Olympic torch through Windsor on Tuesday afternoon as part of the countdown to London 2012.
The 50-year-old, along with TV presenter and documentarist Guillermo Prieto, was selected to represent Colombia in the torch relay as it travelled from Slough.
Valderrama made over 100 appearances for Colombia between 1985 and 1998 and was included in the FIFA 100, a list of greatest living footballers chosen by Pele.
Nicknamed “El Pibe”, or the kid, his distinctive hairstyle made him one of Colombia’s most recognisable and iconic footballers.
Colombia did not qualify for the men’s Olympic football tournament, with Brazil and Uruguay going through from the South American CONMEBOL region
