On Twitter, President Ivan Duque called on all Colombains to March, this Sunday, in rejection of terrorism and in memory of the young people killed in Thursday’s car bomb attack in Bogota.
“We are prepared to continue to confront criminal organizations and build a thriving, an optimistic and committed country with a better future,” said Duque.
Thursday’s explosion outside the General Santander police academy, killing 21 and injuring 58.
“Together, the Government and society, we will work for Colombia. We are not going to give in to the acts of terror. Colombia is firm, fazed, or subject to criminals. Citizen information is very important to dismantle the responsible criminal structure,” siad the president.
