Movistar Colombia to reach 150 cities with LTE by June 2015

TODAY COLOMBIA – Movistar Colombia aims to provide 4G LTE services in 150 cities across Colombia by June 2015, Comunidad Ola reports, citing Telefonica Colombia president Alfonso Gómez Palacio.

The company’s LTE network currently reaches 75 cities and municipalities across Colombia.

The operator offers 4G LTE in Colombia through 30MHz of spectrum in the AWS band.

The operators has recently reached 300,000 4G LTE subscribers in the postpaid segment.
