Colombia is one of our emerging hotspots for 2012, so we were excited to learn that LAN Colombia just began offering four flights a week between Miami International Airport and Bogota, Colombia. And if you book before February 6, tickets start at $400 round-trip, according to the airline’s web site.
The carrier will now have connecting service in 22 destinations in Colombia, including Cartagena, Medellin, Cali, Pereira, and Monteria.
For a taste of Colombia before touching down, travelers can look forward to a hot cup of Juan Valdez coffee while aboard, as the airline also recently announced a partnership with the coffee company to serve the Colombian brew on international and some domestic flights. Other complimentary, non-alcoholic beverages are served as well, plus wine and spirits once in-flight.
