Florida Mayor Heads Delegation to Colombia Looking for Trade Partners, Investment

Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs is headed back to Colombia Nov. 14-20 for another round of trade talks with business and government leaders in Bogota and Medellin.

Jacobs, who attended the August trade trip to Colombia with the Hispanic Chamber of Metro Orlando Inc., is being accompanied by Rick Weddle, president and CEO of the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission; Tom Baptiste, president and executive director of the National Centre.

Orange Countyis part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of 2010 U.S. Census, the county had a population of 1,145,956
