Confirmed Cases of Coronavirus in Colombia Climbs to 54

Monday morning, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection confirmed nine more cases of the coronavirus in the country, after verifying the results of the tests carried out by the National Institute of Health.

The total number of confirmed infections in the country rises to 54

All new cases were registered in Bogotá. They are three women and six men, all of them isolated at home under supervision. In four of the cases, people came to the country from Spain, one of them came from Ecuador.

Across the country, the are 28 confirmed cases in Bogotá, 7 in Medellín, 7 in Neiva, 3 in Cartagena and 1 each in Rionegro, Cali, Buga, Palmira, El Meta, Cúcuta, Manizales, Dosquebradas and Facatativá.

The Ministry of Health noted that all are in isolation in their homes and under surveillance by Health authorities.
