Colombian Government Rejects Alleged Pressure FARC-EP

The team leader of the Colombian government in the peace process, Humberto de la Calle, announced Wednesday he will return to the negotiating table in Cuba with the FARC-EP, but without accepting alleged pressure from the guerrillas “to regulate the conflict. ”

According to de la Calle, a former vice president, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People’s Army (FARC-EP) have insisted in that topic because “its old claim to institutionalize (the conflict) and extend it indefinitely.”
