Colombian Foreign Minister to Pay Official Visit to Peru

The Colombian foreign minister Maria Angela Holguin will travel soon to Lima, invited by her Peruvian counterpart, Eda Rivas, to prepare a visit of Ollanta Humala, president of that Andean country, to Bogotá.

According to sources from the Foreign Ministry, the invitation was made during the recent visit of Holguin to Peru because of the 36 Meeting of the Andean Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers, expanded to representatives of the Andean Community Commission.

On that occasion Holguin and Rivas had a meeting on the main themes in the bilateral agenda and the current regional situation.
