Civil Aviation Confirms Plane With 10 Aboard Accidentally Crashed in Southern Colombia

COLOMBIA NEWS – Colombia’s Aeronáutica Civil  (Civil Aviation)  said Saturday that a Laser’s company airplane with two crew members and eight passengers aboard crashed after taking off from an airport in Araracuara municipality in Caquetá, in the southern part of the country.

The aircraft was located 10 km from the city municipality of Puerto Santander, in Amazonas by aircraft from the Colombian Air Force had been deployed to the area to search. There was no immediate report of any survivors from the crash.

The plane with the registration number HK-4755 PA 34 Navajo was reported missing at 15:00 local time.
