TODAY COLOMBIA – Following a seven month hiatus, drivers in Cali can once again get 50% off their traffic ticket by attending a driving course, says the Secretario de Tránsito de Cali, Ómar Jesús Cantillo Perdomo.
Drivers picked off by a traffic camera have up to 11 days of notification to present themselves, while drivers given a ticket personally by a traffic official have five days.
The courses are being every day, including Saturdays and Sundays, in three different locations across the city: in barrio Salomia, Centro Comercial Aventura Plaza and Centro Comercial la 14 Valle del Lilí.
Capacity is up to 510 daily during weekdays and 150 Saturdays and 120 Sundays.
“With the resumption of the courses drivers have the opportunity to catch up with fines for traffic violations,” said Perdomo.
