Tampa, Florida, Mayor Bob Buckhorn will lead an entourage of more than 30 business and community representatives on a Dec. 5-8 trade mission to Barranquilla, Colombia.
The mission’s goal is to promote international economic development for the Tampa Bay region, expand global trade and attract foreign investment, according to a written statement.
The mission was organized by Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corp. in partnership with Tampa Barranquilla Sister Cities.
The trip will complement a Dec 2-5 mission to Bogota, Colombia, lead by Gov. Rick Scott.
