Beating the chill! Sofia Vergara warms up in purple padded jacket in between filming scenes for Modern Family

‘Latin women are very comfortable with their bodies and their sexuality. We aren’t afraid to show that off a little bit more.’

It would have been grand too if not for the bone-chilling drop in temperature, which caused the brown-eyed beauty to noticeably pout in dismay.

The dark blue jeans, black T-shirt and grey cardigan weren’t enough to keep Sofia from shivering.

But luckily there was an assistant on hand with the solution, which was a thick down padded purple jacket.

The Colombian-born Sofia was born and raised in Barranquilla where temperatures are customarily in the 80-degree and over range.

Sofia is more accustomed to warmer climates and this cold overcast weather is obviously not on her wish list.

Fortunately Sofia was able to beat the chill after her brisk walk and her good mood was restored.

Sofia recently had the fortune of sharing a romantic New Year’s holiday with fiance Nick Loeb in Miami.

The weather was so hot that Sofia could parade her figure on the beach in a bathing suit and sheer blue sarong, which she did proudly.

‘Confident people have a way of carrying themselves that makes others more attracted to them,’ Sofia has told Shape.
